Chihiro (BrucexReader) One-Shot

The two of you had been enjoying the sights that the town had to offer. What better time to visit than Chinese New Year? Now you were beginning to regret it. There was just so many people littering the streets. The sound of drums matched the rhythm of your heart as you ran faster down the street. He couldn't have gotten too far off. The reason why you were so concerned was that simply, Bruce did not do well in a crowd. He tended to get frustrated easier when he was in a crowd and the last thing you wanted was for the Other Guy to make an appearance. You were lucky that Bruce even agreed to coming to this festival. Was your lucky going to run out? 

Stopping on the side walk to catch your breath, you ran a shaky hand through your (h/c) locks. 

"Damn it Bruce, where are you?" You cursed underneath your breath, starting to regret the idea of ever even coming to this festival. 

There was a large, startling crash noise followed by a gong that caught your attention. You whipped around, half expecting to see the familiar green hue of the Hulk storm its way through the crowd. Instead, you saw a gigantic dragon red dragon with golden wings that had huge blue eyes with white eye lashes that batted themselves that the people watching the parade. It was truly a spectacular sight. You were so caught up in the moment that you didn't even notice when a hand had placed itself on your shoulder. Only when you felt an arm slither around your waist did you react.

Your eyes widened in fear and you just followed your instincts. You grabbed the persons arm and twisted it around their back so that you were behind them, your foot pressing into their back to keep them low on the ground.

"(N-Name)!" A familiar voice whimpered beneath you. "It's just me!"

"Brucie!" You gasped, letting go of his arm which caused him to fall flat on his face on the floor. You immediately helped him up, an apologetic look on your face. "I'm so sorry! I thought you were someone else. Are you alright?"

"Fine, fine," He chuckled weakly. "You sure have a grip on you. I guess that's why SHIED hired you."

"Of course it is," You scoffed. 

He pinched your nose. "So exactly how did you get lost?"

"Me?" You gasped in mock horror. "Bruce if I recalled correctly it was you who lost me by going across the street to one of the food stands!"

He blinked at you, clearly not amused by your accusations. He ruffled your hair and then a smile graced his lips. "(Name)....you do realize that it was you who got yourself lost for buying a gold fish in one of the stands set up."

"W-What?!" You blushed. "N-No it was not!"

Bruce reached from your left hand and plucked the plastic bag from your hand where your little bug eyed golden friend was swimming about. "And what is this?"

"....That is a she and her name is Chihiro."

"Chi who now?" Bruce asked bewildered.

"HER NAME IS CHIHIRO!" You roared, your fists clenching and unclenching. 

"Alright calm down now Hulka," He put his hands up in defense. 

"Easy for you too say," You muttered. 

He wrapped his arms around your waist, careful not to hurt Chihiro as he did so. His lips brushed against yours in a sweet kiss making a smile appear on your face. 

"Happy Chinese New Year," He grinned.
