"Mommy, mommy!" Your child of seven years old, Chris, ran towards you. "Look what daddy bought me!"

Steve smiled as his son handed you his new toy that was still in it's box. The smile that was on your face immediately faded when you saw the toy. You gasped and let it fall to the ground. Chris went to pick up but you grabbed him and pushed him behind you.

"Chris don't touch that!" You told him with terror in your voice.

"Sweetie what's wrong?" Steve asked concerned. "The toy isn't dangerous. It's just a doll."

It wasn't just a doll though.

It was the doll. The doll that had haunted you ever since you were a child. Till this day you still had nightmare's about the toy coming out of your closet and slashing your throat.

"Steve...that's Chucky!" You gasped. "We....we just can't let our son play with that doll!"

Without you knowing, Chris stepped away from you and silently grabbed the toy. Steve tried to question you what was wrong with the toy but you couldn't bring yourself to explain it to him. He would think you were insane for sure. The last thing you needed was for your son to worry about you as well. But you needed to protect your child. He didn't understand the dangers of the doll. You and Steve were silently arguing about keeping the doll. You wanted to throw it in the trash, burn it even, but Steve wouldn't allow it since his son really liked the doll.

"Hi I'm Chucky," A cheerful voice sounded.

You froze mid-sentence and slowly turned around to see that the doll had already been pulled out of the box. Chris was sitting on the floor with it and laughing at how the doll spoke.

"And I'm your friend till the end," The doll smiled.

Steve walked over to his son and with a grin said, "He's something isn't he, darling?" He shot you a secret look, meaning that you really should drop your antics.

You laughed and sat down with your family as well. It took a lot of will power to not yank that doll out of your sons hands and throw it out the window. All you could do was smile as your son played with the doll. Your eyes didn't leave him the entire time. Sadly for you, your son had become attatched to the doll. You even had to beg him to not sleep with it. Once he was tucked in bed and Steve was waiting for you in the bedroom, you grabbed the doll and took a chair. You tied the doll to the chair with some rope you had in the house and went to the kitchen to pull out a long knife.

"This should do the trick," You smiled sinisterly.

"Hahaha," The doll laughed but it was the laugh it was programmed with so it didn't scare you at all.

"Enough with the bullshit Chucky," You sneered. You twirled the knife in your hands. "I'm not in the mood for your games."

The doll's blue eyes just stared blankly into yours.

You gripped your knife tightly when you thought you saw the doll move but it didn't. Was it your imagination? You gulped and checked the time. About fifteen minutes had passed and the doll still wasn't coming to life. It was close to midnight and you were sure that Steve was getting worried about you. With a sigh, you turned around and headed back to the bedroom, knife still in hand.

Then....you heard something or someone breathe. The clock struck twelve and with a twirl of your heel, you saw the Chucky doll come to life with a single breath.

"And people said I was crazy," You hissed, your defenses now up.

The Chucky looked at the ropes you had tied him up with. "Whoa...shit gets kinky in this house fast." He looked up at you and laughed but not the usual cheerful laugh the doll had. No. It was a sinister cackle that made you grow nervous. "Well looky here. It's been long time dollface, miss me?"

"So much," You said drlyl. "Now Chucky I'm giving you two options. Option one: leave my fucking house and never come back again. Option two: I burn you and you go back to Hell."

"I'm one of the most notorious slasher's in history," He hissed. "And I'm not about to give that up! So bite me bitch!"

"Option two it is then."

You jogged to the garage and went to grab a jug of gasoline you had just in case of an emergency. Thank God you still had it now. You ran back to the living room to find that Chucky was no longer in the chair and that the lights were off.

"Shit!" You cursed. You quickly turned on the lights and still didn't see him anywhere in sight. You silently made your way around the living room and kitchen, looking for him.

"Raaa!" The toy yelled as he fell on top of you.

You shrieked when it pulled at your hair and managed to push you onto the ground. You grabbed your knife and managed to slash his clothing but you weren't sure if you hit his plastic skin. The two of you yelled as you rolled about on the floor. Finally just when you had him pinned down and your knife was raised above, he turned back to the plastic doll that he was. You were confused but weren't about to stop.

"Mom stop!" Your child cried.

You looked up stunned to see your child run up to you as well as Steve who yanked the knife away from your hands. He tossed it into the kitchen and grabbed you by the shoulders.

"(Name)?! What is going on?!" He asked concered for you and for the well being of his child.

Chris grabbed Chucky and hid behind his father who helped you up. Your eyes flickered between's Steve's and Chucky's eyes that was now lifeless.

"Steve...I....the doll...." You were speechless. How were you to explain this?

Steve sighed. "You need to get some rest. We'll talk about this in the morning. Chris just go put Chucky away."

"No wait!" You cried but he wasn't listening to you. He just kept pushing you towards the bedroom.

"I'm sorry Chucky," Chris hugged the doll. "Mom is just...stressed that's all."

"Hahaha," The doll laughed which made you want to let out a blood curdling scream. "I'm Chucky! And I'm your friend till the end!"

The way the doll said friend made you spin around and for just a split second, you saw the doll grin evilly at you.

This wasn't just child's play anymore.
*gasp* A cross over! Sort of...

I was listening to the Mike Relm remix of Chucky and this idea came to mind. I'm not sure if I should continue this which is why I didn't write that it's a one-shot. Let me know you guys~

I've seen the movie before, but in this story did the doll really come to life or was the reader just imagining things? because i'm thinking maybe she was just imagining things
