Santa Claus! (ThorxReader) One-Shot

"Oh dear," You frowned when you saw the long line of children waiting to get a turn to see "Santa Claus". You were at a typical packed mall with your small daughter who frowned as well when she saw the long line.

"I'm not going to get a turn, am I mommy?" Your daughter, Lucia, sighed sadly.

You squatted down so that you were eye-to-eye with your daughter who had golden locks just like her father. "Don't lose hope sweetie. We're just gonna have to wait a while, that's all."

"Okay," Lucia nodded, a small smile forming on her lips.

The two of you quickly got in line and the wait began. Thor was doing some holiday shopping while you and your daughter were in line. This gave Thor the perfect oppurtunity to get his daughter some presents without her knowing. Him being a God and all, it should be an easy task. You just hoped that it wasn't like last year where he used his hammer to push people out of the way. You silently prayed that everything would be alright and continued to wait in line.

Thirty minutes had passed and you and daughter had only advanced by just a little. Only ten children got to see Santa and all the ones that did had a huge list of presents they wanted.

Ingrateful brats, You thought annoyed.

You would understand a list of five, ten maybe, but after it passed ten, it was just ridiculous. What made it even more ridiculous was that the parents just stood by and smiled as their child just went on and on about what they wanted as if they were the only child in line. Even the elves the mall had hired looked pissed.

"I'm sorry everyone, but Santa has to get back to the North Pole, come by tomorrow early so you can get a chance to see him!" A worker at the mall informed everyone.

Every parent let out a groan as their children started to have a temper tantrum. Your daughter merely sighed sadly, her head hung low.

"Sweetie cover your ears," You smiled softly. Lucia nodded, understanding what that meant. "Are you bloody kidding me?! I've been waiting in line for over hour and now I have to go home?"

"M'am please-" A worker began.

"Next time put a time limit on the kids to speed things up you...baka's!"

"I see you've resorted to calling people stupid in Japanese," Thor sighed, now next to you. He grabbed Lucia and set her on his shoulders. You could tell she was still upset even after you saw that she had begun to braid her fathers hair.

"Well I can't help it," You pouted. "Lucia really wanted to see Santa."

"Is that true, Lucia?" Thor asked her.

"I really did daddy, I've never got to see him before. I thought that this year would be different but I guess not." At this point she was starting to tear up. It was true and her being a seven year old, that was rough.

He set his daughter down and gave her a big comforting hug. "I promise that this year will be different."

"Pinky promise?" She held out her pinky.

"Pinky promise," He grinned, wrapping his pinky around her's that was so big and thick.

"Ho ho ho!" A voice belowed. "Merry Christmas!"

"Santa!" Lucia exclaimed when "Santa" entered the living room.

Your jaw practically hit the floor when you saw the man enter your room and got up quickly to see who it was. Only when your (e/c) orbs met a pair of blue one's did you realize that it was Thor dressed up as Santa! He wore the red suit, hat, and even a fake white beard! It was hilarious and touching at the same time to see that Thor did this for his daughter.

"I finally get to meet you!" Lucia smiled happily.

"Santa" sat down on the couch and propped Lucia up on his lap. "So what do you want for Christmas little girl?" He asked in a voice that was deeper than usual.

"Hmmm....I guess....well I want a sword like Sif's that's for sure," She told him with a small smile. This caused both you and "Santa" to laugh. Ever since Lucia had met Sif, she had wanted a sword just like the female warrior so she could go to into battle someday. Like that would ever happen with an over protective father.

"Anything else?" He asked curiously.

"Yeah!" She nodded rapidly. "I really want to go to Asgard so I can meet my Uncle Loki!"

If you had been drinking coffee, you were sure you would have spit it out. Meet Loki? Sure you had told your daughter about her troubled Uncle but meeting him....? Since when had she wanted that? Thor seemed to be having the same thoughts since he didn't respond to her right away. Though something strange happened, he...he smiled but it was a smile that looked like it held a secret.

"I'd have a feeling you'd say something like that," He chuckled. "Hmmmm....where are my reindeer?" He called out loud, his loud voice echoing throughout the house. "Oh reindeer~!!"

"Ho, ho, ho," A voice sighed from the doorway of the living room. "Merry Christmas."

You and your daughter looked at the doorway in shock to see Loki standing there in a reindeer suit with his golden helmet sprayed brown to resemble the horns of a reindeer.

"Oh my god..." You giggled. "Reindeer games! We meet again!"

"Uncle Loki!" Lucia laughed. "You're here!" She bolted over to her Uncle to give him a hug.

"Yes, yes, I'm here and-OOF!" He cried as he was pushed to the ground by Lucia who hugged him tightly. She did have an incredible strength like her father.

You laughed as you watched Loki awkwardly hug your daughter back and give her small pats on the head. "Santa" then got off the couch and wrapped his arms around you. You pulled down his beard so you could see his face fully.

"Thank you so much for doing this dear," You smiled.

"Anything for our dear Lucia," He grinned. He then brought his lips to yours in a sweet kiss. "Merry Christmas darling."
