Tech-Talk (StevexReader) Part 1

"You can count on me," You fake saluted with a grin.

He just rolled his one eye at you before bringing his hard gaze back on you. "Alright then. Mr. Rogers is waiting for you outside. Go on then."

You nodded and strolled out of the room to find Steve Rogers patiently waiting for you outside. He was leaned against a wall, his hands stuffed into his leather brown jacket. His blue eyes met your (e/c) one's and his face flushed. You knew Steve was a shy man which is why you liked hanging around him. You had established a friendship with after the two of you had met so you were glad to help Steve get used to the modern world. You approached him with a comforting smile.

"Sorry the Director's making you do this," He said lamely. 

Your smile never faltered. "And hello to you too Steve."

He blushed a deep shade of red. "S-Sorry m'am, I didn't mean it like that. It's just, you must think it's a pain to be babysitting a lost soldier."

"One—How many times have I told you to just call me, (Name)? And two," You counted off your fingers. "I don't mind at all Steve. Things have been quiet for once in SHIELD. Plus this is the first I get to spend real time with you instead of being cooped up in a room looking over files and whatnot."

"O-Okay...(Name)," He smiled. "Thanks for doing this then."

"It's my pleasure." 

"I take it we're heading to your place?"

"You bet," You nodded. 

Steve stopped leaning against the wall and the two of you made a steady pace out of SHIELD Headquarters. You and Steve mostly talked about the work you were doing in SHIELD and how Monday's were such a bore. Sometimes Steve would get nervous when you said something in a flirtatious but joking manner which you made giggle. One of the reasons you liked Steve was because of how polite he was. He would always hold the door for you and ask you about your day. He was a gentlemen. He was living proof that chivalry wasn't dead. Another reason was how easy it was for you to make him blush. You enjoyed teasing the super soldier. The other reason...well he was hot. Plain and simple the man was sweet and gorgeous. 

The two of you made it out of the building and walked to your car that was in the parking lot. Before Steve got inside, he opened the door for you. Blushing, you thanked him and slid into your seat. The car started off and before you knew it, you were already half way there to your house. 

"So what do you want me to teach you first?" You asked, keeping your eyes diligently on the road. 

He furrowed his eyebrows as he went into deep thought. "Not sure really...."

"There's gotta be something you're curious about."

He rubbed the back of his neck. "Well honestly I started getting into cars and stuff but that's pretty much it."

"Riiight," You nodded, biting your lower lip. "Sorry but I pretty much know nothing about car's. If you want, we could get Phil to tell you some stuff about them. God knows the man would love to teach you and he looks like an expert to me the way he treats Lola." The two of you laughed when you mentioned Phil's red car Lola who he adored as much as fanboy's over Steve. So that was a lot. 

"Alright so I'll cross car's off the list," Steve chuckled.

"Ah there's a list," You smirked. "That means you must want to learn about something else."

He looked at you bashfully. "Well if it isn't too much to ask....maybe teaching me how to use a cellphone would be useful."

"I'd love to teach you," You smiled, looking into his blue eyes for only three seconds before looking back at the road.

"Then maybe I could, uh, get your number?" Steve mumbled, looking out the window slightly embarrassed. 

You tried to hide the goofy grin on your face as well as the blush that was creeping onto your cheeks.

"I'd love to do that too."
