Hello my lovely Phoenicians!

Everyone loves a love story but let's admit that a lot of them lately have been flawed and too predictable. There are points when watching a movie that you literally scream at your tv screen because the main female protagonist admits to liking the male main character but she becomes a stubborn bitch and its almost like she forces herself to not be with him when it's clear they have a good connection.

That gets annoying.

What's even more annoying? The bad boy love stories. Yes bad boys are cute but seriously almost every bad boy story involves drugs and the dude getting arrested or framed for something he didn't do or something he did to protect the "good girl".

What's also been overplayed? The star-crossed lovers act. You know the whole Romeo and Juliet thing where they can't be together for whatever reasons that usually involves family.

Some people argue that the reason these ideas are overused is because everyone loves them and they're just so good.

Mother.Fucking.Bullshit.

People use these ideas because it's SO easy to sell them. Almost anyone can write something like this up. People eat this up. The rest of us who don't, just stray away from the internet for a few days until people stop throwing up rainbow nonsense about that new love story movie that came out.

Why am I writing this? Because I need your help. I've decided to get back into writing (not fanfics) and hell, I'd like to try writing a love story.

Most of you guys give good suggestions so if you may kindly please, write a short/long list of cliches that must be avoided at all times. What's something that you wish someone would write already? It could about a characters personality, character development, story plot--anything!

Oh! Before I forget, just in case some of you mention that they're not gay love stories/books, they're are. Few but there. Problem? It's the same story about how they're not accepted in society for who they are. And I know it makes the story relatable but as time moves on, people are more accepting. It's mostly the younger generation but what can you do?

Anyways, comments are appreciated for this journal entry!
